What we’ve learned from noc™ Beta
We all want to be understood. That’s why we have shared languages. What we don’t always recognise, however, is that not everyone shares exactly the same language. This is why over 50% of written messages are misinterpreted. It’s why we need to be able to see and hear each other to communicate effectively - our facial expressions and gestures help steer us towards mutual understanding.
When we hear part of a story, our imagination fills the gaps. A well-rested brain fills the gaps with an optimistic scenario. A tired brain fills the gaps with a pessimistic scenario. It’s hard for us to recognise which parts of a story are true and which are based on assumption. This leads to misunderstanding, which takes time to clarify. If only communicating with audio and video was as easy as it is to type, we’d be rid of this problem… 🤔
Our secret sauce: noc’s USP explained
Nature always follows the path of least resistance. Rivers flow downhill. Electricity short circuits. People take shortcuts. Applications that deliver the same benefits for less effort gain the most users. noc™ offers the path of least resistance for remote communication in many ways; it requires the fewest steps, offers the quickest dialling process and delivers the call in the least distracting way. This is thanks to our philosophy of designing for simplicity. Here’s a snapshot of how noc™ stacks up against WhatsApp and Zoom;
Upcoming double-page spread in Your Business Magazine
Next April, noc™ will be featured on a double-page spread in James Caan’s acclaimed Your Business Magazine. The publication has a global readership of 1.2 million and stays in circulation for eight months. It will open the floodgates in terms of new business for us, so we need to be prepared for the onslaught. This brings us to our final point today…

We have a great product, a talented team, IP protection and an ever-expanding network of clients, partners and contacts. All we need now is some money. We’re in discussions with Seedrs to set up a crowdfunding campaign (keeping the doors open to the faithful & deserved), but we need a lead investor to aspire market confidence. In today’s barren investment landscape, it’s a question of Who Dares Wins to get things moving again. Will Subscriber Full Name be our saving grace? I certainly hope so 🙏
Peace & automation ❤️
