noc™ is a communication tool designed by PhD-level experts in experience design, human-computer interaction and behavioural psychology to address the social disconnect of remote working.
By reducing barriers to communication and simplifying network architecture, we save people time & energy, make conversations clearer & easier and support the mental health of remote workers.
We are more accessible to use for people with neurodiverse minds. Both our founders have ADHD and approximately a fifth of the world's workforce are in a similar boat.
noc's network architecture improves data privacy and reduces energy consumption, whilst also minimising the friction of making a call. Our design system minimises anxiety and distraction, which helps remote teams to stay focused, innovate more and strengthen social bonds. The app reduces cognitive load a.k.a. mental fatigue and provides a more natural feeling simulation of a personal conversation.

Our apps are designed to support mental health, especially for neurodivergent users, who experience much greater challenges when communicating remotely. We test all our software to maximise inclusivity and minimise any negative health impact.
Ethics
Automation = liberation
Computing power is now so abundant that we can automate almost anything. The automation of labour can only be justified if the net gain to humanity is positive and fairly distributed.
Attention = Sacred
As an online planet, we're halfway to a hive mind. A healthy mind isn't overstimulated. It doesn't flood itself with automated outreach. It conserves its energy by only sending useful signals, directly to the right place.
